As an antioxidant, rosemary leaf extract helps to protect against free radical damage and the effects of environmental stresses on the skin. It also slows down the oxidation of oils, thereby keeping oils in skincare products from going rancid for a longer time and naturally keeping them on the shelf longer. It is especially helpful when combined with fragile oils like hemp, avocado and grapeseed.

Rosemary leaf extract also boasts anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and skin toning properties.
