Anise Seed Essential Oil

Latin Name:Pimpinella anisum
Country of Origin:Egypt
Extraction Method:Steam distillation
Cultivation:Organic
Plant Part(s):Seed

Fresh, sweet, spicy and licorice-like, anise seed is not to be confused with star anise. While the two hold similar properties, anise seed is an entirely different plant, and indeed a star in its own right. A little goes a long way with this oil and dilution prior to blending is recommended.

Recommended Uses

Anise seed is known to help aid muscle aches and spasms, coughs, colds and flus, and digestive problems like flatulence.
