Emulsified blends are a 1:1 dilution of essential oils and our emulsifier (Polysorbate 20), whereas non-emulsified blends are pure essential oils. As we know, oil and water do not mix, so emulsified blends are for scenting water-based or -soluble products like magnesium oil, room mists or mineral soak. The emulsifier allows the essential oils to be safely dispersed in water. Regular essential oil blends are 100% pure essential oils and can be safely mixed with hand & body wash, lotion, bath foam, and massage & body oil.
Blending Note: Because the emulsified blends are 50% essential oil and 50% emulsifier, you will need to double the amount to get the proper dilution when mixing with a base. For example: for 100g of Body Wash, you would mix in 10 drops regular essential oil blend. For 100g of Magnesium Oil, you would mix in 20 drops emulsified blend.
