Coriander essential oil is produced from the seeds of the cilantro plant. These seeds have been consumed for thousands of years and produce one of the most widely known flavours across the world. Coriander seeds are used in the flavouring of Chartreuse and Benedictine liqueurs.

Recommended Uses

Coriander is known to assist with digestive issues, flatulence, mental fatigue and stomach cramps. It may be antispasmodic and sedative, and is known to be quite relaxing. Emotionally, coriander can be calming and uplifting.

Scent Profile

Coriander is a middle/top note. It is sweet, peppery, slightly woody and citrusy.

Blends well with bergamot, black pepper, cajuput, cardamom, cinnamon leaf, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, jasmine, juniper berry, lemon, manuka, melissa, neroli, nutmeg, orange sweet, palmarosa, patchouli, petitgrain, sandalwood, spearmint, vetiver and ylang ylang.
