Description: May Chang, which is also known as Litsea Cubeba or Mountain Spice, is a fresh, light essential oil with a distinct lemon-esque note. It is reminiscent of Lemongrass, Eucalyptus Citriodora, and Citronella, but is considered the softest and sweetest of the bunch.
Best known for its insect repelling qualities, May Chang is one of those essential oils that has limited uses, but is highly effective in the benefits it does have.
Topically, this essential oil will benefit those dealing with persistent blemishes, overly oily skin, acne, dermatitis, some fungal infections, arthritis, nausea, and indigestion. It is an effective respiratory tonic and air disinfectant, and may also assist in fortifying the liver and the overall detoxification process of the body.
