Spike Lavender has potent healing properties, and has shown to be useful in treating burns, athletes foot, fungal infections, various viral infections, bronchitis, insect stings, scar tissues formations, wounds, and can soothe cold and flu symptoms. It's also noted for its ability to ease rheumatic pain, flatulence, dyspepsia, colic, neuralgia, and menstrual cramps.
This oil is often used to calm the senses while maintaining alertness. It is balancing, will ease depressive headaches, and may help to clear congested thought processes.
Like Lavandin, Spike Lavender is an energetic purifier/clearer, and provides a boost to energetically sluggish individuals.
Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy. Exercise caution when using on children under 5 years of age. Unlike Lavender, this essential oil is not recommended for neat (undiluted) use on the skin.
