|Latin Name:||Lavandula latifolia|
Description: Spike Lavender contains a fresh, leafy note that is reminiscent of Rosemary or Eucalyptus with hints of the traditional Lavender scent underneath. While from the same Lavendula family as Lavender, this sibling has unique properties that allow it to stand out on its own.
Spike Lavender has potent healing properties, and has shown to be useful in treating burns, athletes foot, fungal infections, various viral infections, bronchitis, insect stings, scar tissues formations, wounds, and can soothe cold and flu symptoms. It's also noted for its ability to ease rheumatic pain, flatulence, dyspepsia, colic, neuralgia, and menstrual cramps.
This oil is often used to calm the senses while maintaining alertness. It is balancing, will ease depressive headaches, and may help to clear congested thought processes.
Like Lavandin, Spike Lavender is an energetic purifier/clearer, and provides a boost to energetically sluggish individuals.
